Refund Policy

1. Introduction
This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which Cannomic ("the Company," "we," "us," or "our") provides refunds and handles cancellations for SpecimenOS ("the Service"). By subscribing to the Service or making purchases through the SpecimenOS Marketplace, you agree to this Refund Policy.
2. Free Trial
SpecimenOS offers a 14-day free trial for new subscribers. During the trial period, no charges are incurred and no payment method is required. Because no payment is collected during the trial, no refund is applicable for the trial period.
3. Monthly Subscriptions
You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to the Service through the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time remaining in a billing period.
4. Annual Subscriptions
If you are on an annual subscription, a prorated refund is available if you cancel within the first 30 days of your annual billing period. The refund will be calculated based on the unused portion of your subscription term.
After 30 days, no refunds are available for annual subscriptions. Your access to the Service will continue through the end of your annual billing period.
5. Marketplace Purchases
All SOP purchases made through the SpecimenOS Marketplace are final. No refunds are provided on marketplace transactions. Purchased SOPs remain accessible in your workspace indefinitely.
In the event that a purchased SOP is removed from the Marketplace due to a policy violation, affected buyers will receive a marketplace credit equivalent to the original purchase price, which may be applied toward future marketplace purchases.
6. Plan Changes
Upgrades: When you upgrade your subscription plan, the price difference is prorated and charged immediately. You gain access to the higher-tier features right away.
Downgrades: When you downgrade your subscription plan, the change takes effect at the start of your next billing period. You retain access to your current plan's features until that time.
7. How to Cancel
You may cancel your subscription at any time through Account Settings > Manage Subscription within the SpecimenOS application. Cancellation is effective immediately and requires no approval. There are no cancellation fees.
8. Data After Cancellation
Following cancellation, your data is retained for 30 days. During this period, you may export your data by contacting our support team or using the in-app export functionality (available to users with export permissions).
After 30 days, all workspace data is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. We strongly recommend exporting any data you wish to retain before your access expires.
9. Exceptions
Billing errors: If you are charged incorrectly due to a billing error on our part, you are entitled to a full refund of the erroneous charge. Please contact us promptly upon discovering any billing discrepancy.
Service outages: Service outages exceeding the commitments outlined in our Service Level Agreement may qualify for service credits as described in the SLA. Service credits are the sole remedy for outage-related issues.
